Ticket Postbus pass journey between Oberwald and Airolo
Starting from Airolo, the journey with the postal bus of line 111 goes over Bedretto and All'Acqua to the Nufenen Pass summit at 2478 m above sea level, climbing approximately 1300 meters in altitude. Afterwards, the postal bus descends back over Ulrichen and Obergesteln to Oberwald. This route descends about 1100 meters in altitude.

Practical information:
The Nufenen Pass is the highest paved Alpine pass in Switzerland. From 2478 meters above sea level, on the right side of the window facing towards Airolo, you have a very beautiful view of the Gries Glacier and Lake. When heading towards Oberwald, you should choose the left side of the window.
