Description
This guided glacier tour takes you from Fiesch by cable car to Fiescheralp. From there, you hike via Salzgäb through the illuminated Tälli Tunnel to Märjelensee. After a short break at the glacier hut, the route continues to the Great Aletsch Glacier.
At the glacier, you rope up and start a circular tour over the eternal ice. Afterwards, you return to Märjelensee and then hike back to Fiescheralp. The Great Aletsch Glacier is the largest and longest glacier in the Alps with about 81 km² of area and 22 km in length.
Schedule:
- Cable car from Fiesch to Fiescheralp -> Briefing -> Salzgäb -> Tälli Tunnel -> Märjelensee -> Glacier hut -> 2-3 hour glacier circular tour -> Märjelensee -> Hike back to Fiescheralp.
