This is more than just a small snack. The combination of all stops creates a full dinner that will accompany you culinarily throughout the evening.

You’ll be a guest at renowned places like Hotel Mirabeau, CERVO Mountain Resort, Hotel Pollux, and Hotel Post. Here, you’ll experience the variety of local, Italian, and Middle Eastern cuisine, thoughtfully combined into a harmonious overall experience.

The selection of dishes and drinks is already coordinated. You can sit back and enjoy each stop without a care.

Tapas Tour Itinerary

This route description will guide you simply and safely to the various locations. Make sure to have this document with you throughout the entire tour. If you have any questions, the hosts at the restaurants will be happy to assist you.

1. Tapas stop: Marie’s Deli, Hotel Mirabeau | 7:00 pm – 7:45 pm You can reach Hotel Mirabeau from Zermatt train station via Spissstrasse. After 200 m, turn right onto Untere Mattenstrasse. After another 50 m, you will find Hotel Mirabeau on the right. Please check in at the reception.

2. Tapas stop: Bazaar, Hotel Cervo | 7:55 pm – 8:50 pm When leaving Hotel Mirabeau, turn right and follow the street to the river. Cross the bridge and immediately after, turn right. Walk 250 m further. On the left, you’ll see the valley station of the Sunnegga railway. To the right of the main entrance, there is a keypad. Enter the code you received at Hotel Mirabeau (or alternatively, call Hotel Cervo at +41 27 968 12 12 to request it). Then walk through the tunnel and take the left turn at the end. You will see the lift that takes you up to Hotel Cervo.

3. Tapas stop: Fireplace Bar, Hotel Pollux | 8:55 pm – 9:40 pm Take the same lift back down and exit the tunnel. After the tunnel, turn left and walk along the river towards the Matterhorn. At the second bridge, turn right into Hofmattstrasse. Follow it for 250 m until you reach Bahnhofstrasse, where on your left you'll see the entrance to Hotel Pollux.

4. Stop: Hotel Post | 9:45 pm – 10:30 pm Upon leaving Hotel Pollux, turn right and follow Bahnhofstrasse for 180 m (heading towards the Matterhorn). On the left side, you will find Hotel Post.

The entire route is approximately 1.3 km long and takes about 15 minutes on foot. Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village, so all routes must be covered on foot. If you want to take an electric taxi, the restaurant hosts can assist you. Taxi rides are not included in the price and must be paid for by the participants themselves.

If you’re staying longer in Zermatt, a visit to Zermatlantis is definitely worth it. This interactive museum offers a deep dive into the rich history of the mountain village. You’ll also get unique insights into the first ascent of the world-famous Matterhorn. Take a trip back in time and stroll through historic reconstructions of Zermatt.
