Description

Switzerland's stunning mountain landscapes attract countless tourists and climbers from all over the world. The Jungfraujoch is one of the country’s most renowned destinations. No traveller should miss the chance to experience this extraordinary alpine region. Take a break from the busy city of Lucerne for a day and immerse yourself in the unique mountain world of the Jungfraujoch.

In the morning, you’ll board a modern coach where your tour guide will welcome you. The comfortable bus then takes you to Interlaken. Along the way, the guide shares fascinating insights about the passing scenery. There's a brief stop in Interlaken before the journey continues directly to Grindelwald.

From Grindelwald, the state-of-the-art Eiger Express cable car whisks you up to the Eigergletscher station. From there, the Jungfrau Railway climbs to over 3,500 meters above sea level, reaching Europe’s highest railway station. At the Eismeer station, you make a short stop to admire the breathtaking glacier panorama. Huge glass windows allow you to experience the glacier up close.

When you finally arrive at the Jungfraujoch summit, prepare to be amazed. The stunning views over the Aletsch Glacier and the snow-covered mountain landscape will stay etched in your memory for a long time.

Over the next few hours, you’ll explore many fascinating sights on the Alpine Sensation adventure tour. First, the Sphinx observation deck offers a unique vista stretching into neighbouring countries Italy and France. The Ice Palace gives you a glimpse inside a glacier. Make sure to dress warmly — even in summer it’s cool up here.

Your descent starts with the cogwheel train from Kleine Scheidegg down to Lauterbrunnen. After an exciting day, the coach takes you back from Lauterbrunnen to Lucerne in the late afternoon.
