Description
At the Hölloch Center, you meet your guide along with the other participants. You will then be equipped with everything needed for the short cave tour. Helmet and headlamp on, and off you go. This tour reveals the stunning interior of the Hölloch.
Darkness and a magical atmosphere, coupled with fantastic acoustics, accompany you throughout the journey. You'll explore the winding side passages and traverse prepared paths and staircases with an elevation change of about 100 meters. Your guide shares plenty of fascinating insights about the cave's history, formation, and wildlife.
By candlelight and accompanied by great cave music, you and your group will enjoy a delicious raclette with sides (potatoes, pickled gherkins, etc.) and drinks. After this culinary experience, you'll return to the surface and can reflect on your breathtaking adventure.

- Cave temperature remains around 6°C year-round, humidity nearly 100%
- Requirements: possible without physical fitness, but sure-footedness is necessary

Hölloch Cave
One of the largest caves in the world is hidden in the beautiful Muotathal in the canton of Schwyz: the Hölloch. Over 200 km of the cave system have been explored so far, and a large part of it can also be discovered by non-experts.
The Hölloch was formed by underground water. Over the course of more than a million years, the cave system was created this way. Explore this fantastic and mystical underground world with a guide and let yourself be enchanted by stalactites and rock formations. The route for the short tour is developed with stairs and paths. You won’t find an easier way to experience the atmosphere of the Hölloch.
