About Adventsdorf in Olten

A Christmas village in the town centre with over 66 chalets whose vendors change daily and weekly. Also on offer are a toboggan run with tubes, an artificial ice rink, curling, a children's carousel, a little train and candle dipping. Every day at 18:00 St Nicholas flies over Kirchgasse into the village as the Flying Santa.

How to get there

About 10 minutes' walk (about 700 m) from Olten station: take the town-centre exit, follow the Aare and cross the old wooden bridge into the old town. The organiser recommends public transport.
