You are visiting the monastery in Einsiedeln as part of a public tour. During this visit, you’ll also get to see the abbey library, which is usually off-limits. This library holds about 20,000 out of 230,000 printed books, manuscripts, and prints from the beginning of the printing press era.
Starting at 3:30 PM, a DiaVision presentation about the history and daily life of the monastic community will add to this tour.

Unser Guide war – mit einem Wort … Phänomenal. Ich empfehle eine Führung, nicht nur wegen der Möglichkeit, die Bibliothek und andere Räume zu besichtigen, sondern auch wegen der Informationen, die man ohne diese Führung nicht gesehen oder gehört hätte. Ein wirklich wundervolles Erlebnis!
