Cable Car Belalp from Blatten near Naters

With an 80s gondola, you can ride up from Blatten near Naters to Belalp in just under four minutes. Up here, you can enjoy wonderful hikes or watch the mountain farmers at work. Have you ever seen Blacknose sheep or Eringer cows? If you're more into wildlife, you might be lucky enough to spot chamois, deer, and roe deer on Belalp. Veros Hexenweg is specially designed for families and includes seven enchanted tasks.

In winter, the ski area offers 38.5 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. A total of 13 lifts transport guests in this winter sports area. The winter sports area is located at an altitude of 1322 to 3118 m above sea level and is accessed via chair lifts, drag lifts, and magic carpets. For kids, there's the free Hexenland.

• In Blatten near Naters, there is a parking garage with a parking deck, day parking, and a park and ride lot (bus shuttle to the valley station)
• The valley station is reachable from Brig by postbus 624

In summer, a hike from Belalp to Riederalp is a great option. The hike is moderately difficult, 11.4 km long, and takes at least 4:30 hours. You'll have to manage 800 meters of ascent and 600 meters of descent. The absolute highlight on the route is the suspension bridge, located about halfway through the hike. At 124 meters long, you'll walk 80 meters above the gorge of Massaschlucht. If you'd rather return to Belalp, it's best to turn back here.
