Bernese Oberland Railway Ticket - Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg

You travel on the Wengernalpbahn in approximately 25 minutes from Grindelwald at 2061 meters above sea level to the Kleine Scheidegg. During the journey, you will see impressive alpine landscapes, green meadows, and the famous north face of Eiger.

The route is the longest continuous cog railway in the world, offering beautiful panoramic views of the Bernese Oberland. At the Kleine Scheidegg, you can access numerous hiking trails.

Kleine Scheidegg is an important starting point for excursions to Jungfraujoch and alpine activities. You can reach it year-round on the Wengernalpbahn.

You can board at both Grindelwald station and Grindelwald Grund station.

The Wengernalpbahn (WAB) journey to Kleine Scheidegg begins at Grindelwald station with a short downhill ride to Grindelwald Grund station. It is located below the village core in the valley and offers a large parking area.

You can also board directly at Grindelwald Grund station to save a little time. After stopping at Grindelwald Grund, the trains turn around — from here, the ascent to Kleine Scheidegg begins.
