Description
The Rigi, also known as the Queen of the Mountains, offers countless activities from biking and paragliding to relaxing wellness stays. Over 120 km of well-marked hiking trails give you fantastic views.
You can reach the rustic mountain restaurant Lok 7 on Rigi Staffel comfortably by cogwheel train from Goldau or Vitznau. In dry weather, take a seat on the spacious terrace and enjoy the spectacular view over Lake Lucerne and the Swiss Alps.
Not far from the Rigi station is the mountain restaurant where your meal awaits. With a day ticket for the Rigibahnen, you can start your return trip from the station of your choice.

Swiss Activity Tip
Rigi offers over 120 kilometres of well-marked hiking trails. Along the way, wooden loungers shaped like the Rigi silhouette provide seating with a view.
Flower lovers should take the flower path during the blooming season. This very easy hike (about 1.5 hours) features around 200 plant species along the trail. The Känzeli viewpoint offers a stunning panoramic view.

Immersive Locomotive 7 Exhibition at Rigi-Kulm
The Lok-7 exhibition is located on Rigi Kulm in the former engine shed at the end of the Rigibahnen tracks. It showcases the historic rack steam locomotive from 1873 in its original shed, bringing its story to life through light, film, and sound. It offers a compact insight into the development of the Rigi railways and the early tourist exploration of the "Queen of the Mountains."
It is open daily and free of charge.
