"Find-the-Code: Earthquake" Outdoor Escape Game Zurich City

In this outdoor escape game, you and your team move around Zurich. Using your smartphone, you solve puzzles at various locations while exploring famous city spots.

The goal is to crack the secret code together and stop the looming disaster. You’ll work as a team, collecting puzzle pieces at different checkpoints.

The criminal's message is:

• He has tampered with the ETH Zurich earthquake simulator.
• The madman threatens to trigger a real quake across the city using disguised devices.
• Traffic, power supply, buildings, and infrastructure could all fail simultaneously.

You start the timer, solve the puzzles as a team at different locations, and chat with the criminal. Along the way, you visit the historic old town with Grossmünster and Fraumünster, Bürkliplatz, and the ETH campus with the Polyterrasse.

The puzzle locations lead you to various sights in Zurich. The total route is about 5 km long. At the end, you decipher the collected puzzle pieces to find the secret code.

• If you’re unable to play on the planned day or things don’t go as expected, no problem. The game remains valid indefinitely as long as the location is open. Just start your adventure on another day.
• After the game, on hot summer days you can take a dip in the Limmat or Lake Zurich (where allowed – please observe local rules and regulations) or visit Lettebadi, the Frauenbad Stadthausquai, Seebad Utoquai, or Seebad Enge.
