Seerenbachfälle and Rinquelle

From the gorge wall shoots the second-highest single-drop waterfall in Switzerland, at 305 metres, fed by underground springs. The Rinquelle collects water from a huge cave system beneath the Churfirsten. Since the beginning of the 20th century, divers have been exploring this spring and the cave system behind it. It is known that, 3 kilometres deep in the mountain, an underground channel branches off — but where this water flows remains a mystery. How to get there: By car or public transport from Zurich via Ziegelbrücke to Betlis on the Walensee (boat from Weesen).
