Dear Erasmi, Ready for a day in the mountains? Join us for a hike from Zermatt to Sunnegga and back! Along the way, we’ll enjoy views of the Matterhorn and stop for lunch. After the hike, you’ll have some free time to explore Zermatt. Hike stats: 11.2 km, approximately 655 m ascent and 655 m descent, hiking time approximately 4.5 hours REGISTRATION: Opens on Wednesday, 14th of October at 18:00 and closes on Saturday, 17th of October at 12:00. WHERE: Bern Main Station, under the big departure screens. WHEN: Sunday, 18th of October. We meet at 07:40 and the expected return to Bern is at 20:53. PRICES: With ESNcard: With Halbtax / no train reduction / night GA: 14 CHF With GA: 3 CHF Without ESNcard: With Halbtax / no train reduction / night GA: 19 CHF With GA: 8 CHF IMPORTANT INFO — WHAT TO BRING: Hiking shoes, layered clothes, a light raincoat, a water bottle, a packed lunch, sunglasses and sunscreen. This hike requires a good/moderate hiking level. Please only purchase a ticket from this category if you own a valid ESN card or if you plan to buy one in the near future. You may buy a card from ESN Bern for 15.- CHF. It is valid for one year and will give you discounts at our activities. Note that the card needs to be filled with your personal information and that it will be checked at the beginning of each activity. GA The “Generalabonnement” (GA) by the swiss train company SBB is a monthly or yearly subscription that grants holders unlimited travel on almost all trains. This is not handled by ESN. Please only buy a ticket from the category “with GA” if you own this train subscription from SBB. Halbtax (Half fare), GA Night and local transportation subscriptions are irrelevant for this ticket option. Disclaimer Participation in the ESN Bern program takes place at your own risk. Refund policy Please understand that ESN Bern cannot issue refunds on any tickets sold due to multiple reasons. You are allowed to resell the ticket for the same price to fellow students / ESN members (with the same train reductions). Please note that selling tickets with a profit is forbidden. Also note that the illness insurance is provided by Eventfrog and ESN has nothing to do with it. About ESN ESN Bern is part of the international Erasmus Student Network.
