Yodelling concert with plenty of female power at the Goetheanum At the sixth edition of the yodelling concert at the Goetheanum in Dornach on 17 October 2026, Daria Occhini and Barbara Klossner alias Miss Helvetia, two outstanding yodellers, will take to the stage. As guest acts, the Schwarzbuebe-Jolder Dornach, as organisers, welcome the Jodlerklub Burgwäldli Leuzigen from the Bernese Seeland and the Jodelklub Reinach BL. Recently, the 32nd Federal Yodelling Festival in Basel impressively showed that traditional Swiss customs and traditions are lived and valued. Interest in yodelling has grown noticeably in the Basel region. Among the local highlights in terms of yodelling concerts are, for several years now, the concerts by the Schwarzbuebe-Jodler from Dornach in the large hall of the famous Goetheanum. For the compositions for yodelling choirs, the concert is in the hands of Jodlerklub Bärgwäldli Leuzigen, Jodlerklub Reinach BL and the Dornach Schwarzbuebe-Jodler as hosts. Alongside the three choirs, it is particularly well-known yodellers who will shape this year’s programme at the Goetheanum, and they could hardly be more different. Daria Occhini is regarded as one of the best yodellers in Switzerland. The 26-year-old woman from the Bernese Seeland perfected her gift, which was born with her, at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. In Dornach, Daria Occhini will appear in a duet with her younger sister Gianna. Barbara Klossner will also celebrate her own way of yodelling, albeit in a different style. As Miss Helvetia, her lively yodelling songs are designed to create a good atmosphere, which already met with great enthusiasm at her last appearance in Dornach a few years ago. Jolanda Truffer will host the concert evening; she has also made a good name for herself in the region as an active yodeller. Tickets cost CHF 30 and are available in advance from 8 September 2026 at the Goetheanum box office, at Bider & Tanner in Basel, and at the evening box office.
