For 40 years, the fortress on the St.Luzisteig was home to the train recruit schools and troops. However, the eventful background and history of the Luzisteig go back to the 15th century. Today, at the St.Luzisteig pass height (between Maienfeld and Balzers), in the old arsenal, you will find a military museum well worth seeing. Experience an exciting and important piece of contemporary history there. In addition to the exhibition, visitors are shown a short film about the history of the St.Luzisteig area.
