Informazioni su questo luogo

CaccHho CucchhA unfolds as a resonant space in which subtle sounds and rhythms emerge through movement, touch and interaction. “Cacho” refers to an immeasurable, leftover piece of time. “Cucha” means shelter or a safe place. At the centre of the installation, a large-format tapestry weaves together temporal, geographical and thematic layers like an open picture book. Play platforms and spatial structures invite you to take part. Costumes create sounds and change the way you move. Like rattling roots, jumping barnacles, scratching cicadas and rain snails, children and adults jointly compose stories, gestures and sounds. The exhibition was initiated by de Appel in Amsterdam and realised in co-production. For the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein, it was also developed further for children aged 0 to 4 and supplemented with two works by Ferdinand Nigg (1865–1949). Admission to the exhibition is free. Regular Playshops invite you to movement, sound, free play, inventing and telling stories. Supported by the Hans Groeber-Stiftung and other funding partners.
