Villigen is located about 5 km north of Brigg in the Aare valley. You can hike and bike here in the Jurapark Aargau along the Aare or in the wine-growing area particularly well. The Geissberg, which belongs to Villigen, is part of the Tafeljura and has a forested plateau. On hikes here you can easily observe a colony of chamois. South of Villigen you come to the moated castle, the confluence of the Aare, Reuss and Limmat rivers. Villigen is known for its beautiful fountains, you will find ten of them in the village.
