The village of Villars-sur-Ollon is located in the middle of the Vaud Alps. Breathtaking landscapes, clear mountain air and an alpine idyll attract visitors here. The village above the Rhone Valley is suitable for long hikes with panoramic views. In winter you will find access to the extensive ski area with 420 km of ski slopes. In summer, deep gorges entice you to go canyoning. Worth seeing are the excavations of Saint-Triphon and Charpigny. This hilltop settlement dates back to the Bronze and Iron Ages. Ithink communication should be improved so tourists know you need to plan your way back UP to the starting point to retrieve your belongings or return your rental shoes, etc. Options area) $7 1way cable car ticket UP to Murren, or 45 min hike back UP to Murren. This was not clear for anyone in our group.”
