Mountain Coaster at Monte Tamaro
Close to the mountain station at Alpe Foppa is the large Monte Tamaro sledding track. It stretches 800 m long and features several twists and turns. In a double sled, you can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h.
Kids aged three and up can ride along with at least one person who's at least eight years old and 1.35 m tall.
The sledding track is open from April until the end of the first week of November, from 9:00 am to 4:45 pm. In July and August, it's open an extra hour, until 5:45 pm.

What rules do I have to follow when summer sledding?
Each summer toboggan run has rules that are published on the homepage and at the run itself. By buying a ticket you automatically accept the rules
In most cases, the following must be observed:
- Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Use the toboggan run at your own risk
- No operation in wet conditions
- Children (mostly between 4 and 7 years) only accompanied by an adult
- Keep a minimum distance of 25 meters
- Drive only so fast that no one else is endangered
- Do not stop in the lane
- Do not carry cameras, cell phones or bags
- Keep hands and feet inside the sled - never touch the track. There is a high risk of burns.
Are there also places for summer tobogganing without a fixed track system?
Yes. For example, at Männlichen you can rent so-called Summergemel (also known as mountain cart). With it you drive down between the top station Männlichen and the middle station Holenstein in summer. The route for the Summer Gemel starts at an altitude of 2,225 meters and leads down about 600 meters over a length of 6 kilometers.
