Sigriswil

Sigriswil is located in a beautiful hiking area above Lake Thun. The place is also known for its suspension bridge, which spans the Gummischlucht here. At a height of 180 meters, it offers a breathtaking view of Lake Thun, the Niesen and other mountains in the Bernese Oberland. An annual festival held in September is the "Chästeilet" in the Justistal. Here the farmers divide the produced cheese loaves according to the milk yield of their cows. The community consists of 11 small villages, most of which are picturesquely spread out on a sunny terrace.

“We really enjoyed the city tour. Even as "almost locals," we learned a lot of new things. Ms Kocher was very knowledgeable and took us on an exciting journey.”
