Sattel is located in the canton of Schwyz at an altitude of about 800 m above sea level, in the valley cut of the Steiner Aa. The place is situated between Lake Zug, Lake Lauerz, and Lake Ägeri. From here, you have an impressive view of the Rigi massif. Sattel lies at the foot of the family mountain "Sattel-Hochstuckli", a popular recreational area. In addition to the children’s area with a summer toboggan run, tubing run, and bouncing castle, you will also find the suspension bridge “Skywalk” here. In winter, the practice area “Rondos Lern- und Spassland” is perfect for families. The Hochstuckli ski area offers 6.5 km of slopes for skiers and snowboarders.
