Remigen is located in the eastern part of the Jurapark Aargau in northwestern Switzerland. The village is strongly influenced by viticulture, especially on the southern slope of Geissberg. The small Aargau pass Bürersteig (550 m above sea level) leads through the area of Remigen. It connects Stilli on the Aare with Laufenburg on the Rhine. At the nearby Rotberg in Villigen there is a small skiing area with 0.2 km of slopes and a ski lift. The Hasel Zoo in Remigen is a petting zoo for children.
