Capanna Efra

You’ll find Capanna Efra in Val d’Efra near Frasco at 2039 m above sea level. It belongs to the Società Escursionistica Verzaschese and is run as a self-catering hut. The hut offers 24 sleeping places. According to the SEV, there is running water, electric lighting with solar cells, and a wood-burning stove for cooking and heating. From Frasco-Chiesa, you can reach it on a well-marked hiking trail in around 3 hours. In summer, it is open from early June to the end of October.
