Description
With this ticket, you take the boat on Lake Zurich Upper (Obersee) between Rapperswil and Schmerikon. The boat's pure sailing time is approximately 3 hours. On the onboard restaurant, you can purchase food and drinks.
The boat operates only once daily, so you should not disembark during the trip if you wish to complete the full circuit by boat.
Since this ticket is valid for 24 hours, you can also use it for other journeys with public transport in ZVV zones 180, 181, 182, 183. This includes buses and trains.
Practical information:
- Suitable for: wheelchair users, pram users, dogs (over 30 cm with a second-class ticket for dogs)
- Bicycle transport is not guaranteed (a bicycle ticket is required)
Traveling with a wheelchair
All scheduled boats on Lake Zurich are wheelchair accessible.
- Travel in a wheelchair in second class (MS Panta Rhei also offers first class)
- Wheelchair width must not exceed 80 cm
- MS Bachtel does not have wheelchair-accessible toilets
- Staff will assist with boarding at all piers if needed

- This ship runs only once daily, departing Rapperswil at 11:00 (getting off along the way is not recommended as continuing the journey by ship is not possible)

The boat was dirty on the passenger deck. First-class ticket sold, but only second class was offered.

Really lovely circular tour. Unfortunately, there are no refreshments available and it is not accessible for people with disabilities.
