Description
The funicular is a winch railroad and takes about four minutes from Ligerz to the top station at Prêles. The funicular can transport up to 50 people on one trip.
- Bottom station: Ligerz (439 m above sea level)
- intermediate station Pilgrims' Way (487 m above sea level)
- intermediate station Festi/Château (577 m a.s.l.)
- top station: Prêles (818 m a.s.l.)
Prêles is located on the southern edge of the Tessenberg plateau. From here, in clear weather, you can look out over the Swiss midland to the Alps.
