Der recht lange Aufstieg von Stein zur Vorder Höhi wird mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf die Glarner Berggipfel belohnt. Eine abwechslungsreiche Höhenwanderung führt um den Gulme herum, zum Mattstogg hinüber und nach Amden hinunter.
