“We know Fribourg a bit, but between the Sarine river, the old town, and the mountains, it was great weather-wise.”
Fribourg
The city of Fribourg is located on both sides of the river Saane. It is a city founded in the Middle Ages. It still shows a large number of the neat houses built in the 12th to 15th centuries. More than 200 Gothic facades are still beautifully preserved. Within Switzerland, Fribourg is the city with the largest medieval city center. It is picturesquely situated on a rocky spur 50 m above the Saane valley. The 11 historic fountains were built over several centuries in the city and are a special sight. Visible from afar is the 74 m high bell tower of the Gothic Cathedral of St. Nicholas

“A very friendly, knowledgeable lady who guided us through Thun.”
“Excellent: interesting details about the city, told in an easy-to-understand way, just the right length (90 minutes), not too fast and not too slow. Recommended!”
“Really good and interesting course. The parking is free, but add an extra 5 minutes for walking...”
“Very informative and asy to follow along with the headsets”
“Amazing time. Money well spent on guide with my travel companion not interested in this activity I was thankful I had someone with me encouraging me and giving me so much historical and local history. I just wish I had known I needed my wallet to on the adventure. I had no idea it didn’t end anywhere near the start! Ithink communication should be improved so tourists know you need to plan your way back UP to the starting point to retrieve your belongings or return your rental shoes, etc. Options area) $7 1way cable car ticket UP to Murren, or 45 min hike back UP to Murren. This was not clear for anyone in our group.”
