"Find-the-Code: Blackout" Outdoor Escape Game Basel St. Alban

In this puzzle adventure, you and your team navigate Basel St. Alban at your own pace. You receive clues via your smartphone, face exciting challenges, and explore diverse city sights.

The goal is to work together to crack the secret code and prevent a massive blackout in Basel. The route is freely chosen. The terrain is mostly flat and partially on gravel paths.

The criminal's message is:

• He has hacked into the energy provider's control system.
• Once the timer runs out, a wide-scale blackout will occur in Basel.
• He aims to cut power suddenly to hospitals and organisations.

You start the timer, solve puzzles at various locations through teamwork, and chat with the deranged criminal. You collaborate throughout and solve each puzzle together.

You will visit spots including the Dalbedoor (former city gate), the Dalbeloch (entrance to St. Alban valley), the Basel city wall, and the “Rote Fabrik,” where the criminal gives you tasks in the form of puzzles.

You can visit the puzzle sites in any order. Together, you decide on the fastest route and best strategy. The total distance is about 3 km. In the end, you piece together the collected puzzle parts to find the solution.
