Wheelchair Basel

Basel is a city in the northwest of Switzerland not far from France and Germany. It is the third largest city in Switzerland with about 170,000 inhabitants. Among the most important places to visit are the Basel Cathedral, the Old Town, the City Hall, the Spalentor, the Mittlere Brücke, the Dreiländereck and the Tinguely Fountain.

There are many exciting activities to do in the city of Basel. These include visits to the Art Museum, the Museum Tinguely or the Fondation Beyeler. City tours on foot, by e-scooter or by Segway are possible. The oldest and largest zoo in Switzerland is also located in Basel. In summer, swimming in the Rhine with the so-called "Wickelfisch" is popular. Here you pack your clothes in a waterproof closable bag and float down the river.
