Description
The journey with the Matterhorn Glacier Ride II cable car between the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and Testa Grigia (Plateau Rosa) takes about 4 minutes. This ride is part of the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing, allowing you to travel from Switzerland to Italy via a high-altitude cable car system without needing skis. During the ride, you enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding alpine landscape.
With an extra ticket "Crystal Ride," you can ride in one of the two cabins with a glass floor. They offer a view down onto the glaciers below.

- Matterhorn Glacier Paradise (Klein Matterhorn) – station at approximately 3821 meters above sea level.
- Testa Grigia (Plateau Rosa) – station at 3458 meters above sea level.
Practical information
- Suitable for: wheelchair users and strollers (low-floor entry NF), including the transfer area at Testa Gregia, which is wheelchair accessible.
- Dogs travel free on the cable car. In Switzerland, they must be leashed; in Italy, muzzle requirements apply.
