Jurapark Aargau PostAuto trip from Brugg to Aarau

A ride with the PostAuto (lines 142, 135, 136) takes you through the beautiful Jurapark Aargau. Pine forests alternate with nutrient-poor meadows, cherry trees and vineyards. This diverse landscape is easy to explore year-round.

You can pause the ride spontaneously and shop in village stores or enjoy regional products. Several lines allow flexible legs from Aarau via Frick and Laufenburg to Brugg.

Between Brugg and Aarau, the travel time of the PostAuto is about 1 hour 40 minutes.

• The PostAuto buses are equipped to transport wheelchairs. The access door for wheelchairs bears the appropriate symbol.
• Each PostAuto has a low-floor entry. In the SBB timetable this is indicated as NF.

If you want to take your bike on the PostAuto, please follow these rules:

• Check in the online timetable or in the app whether a bike icon is shown
• If so, please purchase a bike reservation ticket in addition to your ticket

• Small dogs up to 30 cm at shoulder height are free of charge if they stay in a transport container for the entire journey. The container must be tucked under your seat.
• Dogs without a container and all dogs taller than 30 cm at the shoulder require a valid dog ticket: half-price of second class for adults or the minimum fare (dog day pass, dog pass). They must sit under the seat to keep the passage clear for other passengers.

The nature experience trail near Wölflinswil offers an easy loop hike with striking views into the valley. Along information panels you’ll learn a lot about geology, rare plant species and local wildlife.
