About this route
Von Elm führt die ViaSuworow über den Panixerpass, der im Oktober 1799 für Suworows Truppen bei Schnee und Eiseskälte zu einem verlustreichen Desaster wurde. Die heutige Wanderung führt durch die Jetzbachschlucht hinauf zum Pass und anschliessend über die Alpen Mer und Ranasca hinunter nach Pigniu/Panix.
