About this route
Die Route verlässt Aigle über den Weinberg, erreicht Gryonne und später die Rhone, die sie bei Massongex, der alten Hauptstadt des keltischen Wallis, überquert. In St-Maurice hat der Pilger genau die Hälfte der Strecke von Canterbury nach Rom zurückgelegt.
