Der Dichter Gilles hat die Venoge beschrieben, der diese Etappe von Cossonay bis Saint-Sulpice mal hoch oben, mal dem Fluss entlang folgt. Der Pilgerweg erreicht schliesslich den Genfersee und führt weiter über den römischen Ort Vidy nach Lausanne.
