Der Doubs ist ein launisches, faszinierendes Gewässer. Auf dem linksufrigen Abschnitt zwischen St-Ursanne und La Charbonnière wandert man fast immer auf Naturpfaden in unmittelbarer Nähe des blaugrün schimmernden Flusses. Am Ufer leben zahlreiche Libellen und Vögel.
