Description

On this interactive treasure hunt in Zurich, you can explore the historic old town with the help of an app on your smartphone while solving exciting and informative puzzles and tasks.

You and your group can spontaneously go on a puzzle tour, as the start time is entirely up to you. You only need one ticket per person for the interactive game and a smartphone with the corresponding app. The app will guide you through an adventure filled with interesting information about the city, fun tasks, and tricky riddles.

The treasure hunt lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours and begins at the Town Hall in Zurich. Along the way, you’ll discover many sights in Zurich, including the Grossmünster and the Sechseläutenplatz. Your tour eventually ends at Bürkliplatz.

Practical Information:

  • Not suitable for: wheelchair users, strollers
  • Start and end locations are not the same
  • Smartphone with internet connection required
  • Each player needs a ticket
  • The game can generally be played in darkness, but certain inscriptions may be less visible
  • Dogs (without a ticket) are allowed
  • Each person can choose in which language they want to play the trail after entering the game code in their phone. So it's possible to play in a multilingual group without needing separate bookings.

Swiss Activity Tip

How about adding a detour to Uetliberg during your trip to Zurich? You can quickly reach the summit by taking the Uetlibergbahn and enjoy a stunning view of the city and the lake.

Information for school classes

  • A school class can have a maximum of 25 people (students and adult supervisors).
  • It's advisable to split the class into several teams. A team size of up to 8 people is ideal.
  • After booking, you’ll receive a code for the game. This code will be redeemed by all participants, so a maximum of 25 times. At this point, it should already be clear which students belong to which team.
  • One person from the team will then click the "Create Team" button and give the team a name. The team members click "Join Team" and join the team using the team name.
  • The teams should start with an interval of about 2-3 minutes so they can't simply follow each other.
  • Generally, each person plays on their own smartphone. Since everyone answers the questions on their own device, participants compete against each other and see a ranking of all players. This adds to the fun.
  • If not every child in a class has a smartphone with internet access, the game can still be played. These children can play on another child's smartphone. Each team should have the same number of smartphones. Every team needs at least one smartphone.

We couldn’t do the scavenger hunt because the QR code didn’t work, and we couldn’t file a complaint — so we ended up spending CHF 30 for nothing.
