What is "Hand-building"?
The term “hand-building” is used for shaping clay. It refers to a technique where the clay is shaped solely with the hands — no potter's wheel or mechanical tools are involved. This method is common for creating vessels, sculptures, and other clay objects. It’s especially popular because it’s flexible and encourages creativity.
