Description
This challenging climb takes you along the south ridge of the Grisighorn on Belalp. The ridge climbing follows solid, grippy rock and is suitable both for climbers and as preparation for high-altitude tours.
After a short blocky ridge, the climb starts off fairly easy. Then the route gradually becomes a bit more demanding and exposed. A short airy ridge leads you to the summit at 3176 m above sea level.
From the summit, you have views of the Bietschhorn and the Gredetsch valley. The descent follows the normal route back down to Belalp.
