Description

Andermatt is a freeride hotspot, and with Eco Skischule you can discover it at its best. Your snowboard instructor will take you on freeride routes away from the groomed pistes, while staying entirely within the marked and patrolled ski area.

Along the way, you’ll practise using avalanche safety equipment, including an avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel. An experienced snowboard instructor will also teach you the essentials of avalanche safety. You’ll also get an introduction to touring with a splitboard, skins and crampons.

Choose a half-day in the morning or afternoon, a full day with four hours on the snow, or Full-day Unlimited with up to eight hours. The course is for advanced riders who are confident on red runs. Meet at the main meeting point of Eco Skischule in Andermatt.
