I bought this ticket but none of the included services were provided. The train didn’t reach Uetliberg station, so I had to walk and then take a bus to the final destination. I was fined CHF 75 on the trams because the system didn’t recognize my ticket, which stated that tram rides within Zurich were included. As a result, I paid for a service that was not delivered and was fined due to a faulty system.
Hi Paulo, Thanks a lot for your feedback and sorry for any inconvenience caused. There are indeed construction works currently on the Uetliberg train line. However, a replacement bus service has been arranged to ensure all visitors can reach Uetliberg smoothly and enjoy the beautiful views over the city and lake. Your ticket was, of course, also valid for public transport. You chose and bought the reduced fare (half fare). It’s the passenger’s responsibility to select the correct fare type when purchasing, which is clearly indicated multiple times during the booking process. The reduced fare can only be used if the traveler holds a valid Swiss Half Fare Card – which must be shown during the trip. If the reduced fare is used without a valid card, unfortunately, the ticket will not be accepted and a fine may be imposed. If you have any more questions or if we can assist you in any way, feel free to contact us. Best regards, Your Swiss Activities team
