Description

The Uetlibergbahn S10 is one of the steepest normal-gauge adhesion railways in Europe (up to 79 ‰). It runs for 10.36 km and operates every half hour.

On the Uetliberg, you can hike or enjoy nice trails with your mountain bike. In winter, locals and tourists alike love to sled from the Uetliberg.

Since this ticket is valid for 24 hours, you can also use it for other trips with the public transport in ZVV zones 110, 154, and 155. This also includes buses and trams.

Practical Information:

  • Suitable for: wheelchair users and strollers (low-floor access NF)
  • Dogs up to 30 cm in shoulder height travel for free if they are in a basket or another suitable bag without their own seat. All other dogs need a half-fare ticket 2nd class.

Swiss Activities Tip

The Uetliberg Restaurant has about 500 seats. On the large panoramic terrace with a wonderful view of Zurich and Lake Zurich, there are 270 seats alone.
