You can hop off at any stop along the way to enjoy the scenery or hiking trails at your own pace. In this case, check the timetable so you know when to be at the stop for the next PostBus.

Swiss Activity Tip

Lai da Marmorera is definitely worth a visit. During summer and autumn, divers often come here as the crystal-clear water provides perfect diving conditions. You can still admire the remains of the flooded village. One popular dive site is near the Julier Bridge at the lake's southern end, while another is located below the Marmorera Dorf PostBus stop.

Bike

If you want to take your bike on the postbus, keep the following rules in mind:

  • Check the online timetable or app to see if a postbus with bikes is shown
  • If so, make sure to reserve a spot for your bike in addition to your ticket

Traveling by wheelchair

  • Postbuses are generally equipped to transport wheelchairs. The door for wheelchair access has a corresponding symbol.
  • The postbus between Chur and St. Moritz features an integrated lift operated by the driver (no advance booking required). This is marked as HL in the SBB timetable.

Travelling with your dog

  • Small dogs up to 30 cm are free to bring along if they stay inside a carrier for the entire trip. This carrier must fit under your seat.
  • Dogs without a carrier and all dogs over 30 cm at the shoulder require a valid dog ticket: half the price of 2nd class or the minimum fare (dog day pass, dog pass). They must sit under the seat so the aisle remains clear for other passengers.

A unique post bus experience along winding mountain roads, sometimes close to the edge. A dreamlike journey through mountains and valleys.
