A beautiful excursion destination in Thun is Schadau Park with Schadau Castle. The stunning park is situated on the shores of Lake Thun with a view of the Alps. Schadau Castle houses a restaurant and the Swiss Museum of Gastronomy. Schadau Park also features the Wocher Panorama, the oldest preserved circular panorama in the world. You can reach it from Thun by bus line 1.
