Description
In Wildhaus you meet your hiking guide and the rest of the participants. After a short ride in carpools to the starting point (a little outside Wildhaus), you set off.
You hike in the evening with snowshoes through a quiet winter landscape at the foot of the Säntis massif. The guided tour leads across snowy alpine pastures and along the Säntisthur, the headwaters of the Thur.
Along the way you treat yourself to a warm aperitif under the open sky.
Practical information
- The meeting point is opposite the Wildhaus PostAuto bus stop, Lisighaus.
Swiss Activities Tip
After a snowshoe hike, you can warm up again at Hagbeizli in Wildhaus and recharge your energy. Enjoy a tasty dinner with a hot drink. You'll be offered typical Swiss dishes, such as a tasty Rösti or a cheese fondue.

- Prerequisite: fitness for a 2-hour hike (200 m elevation gain)
