Pfluwe Alphubel 2-day ski tour private from Zermatt

This beautiful ski tour takes you to Alphubel, over 4,000 m above sea level. You’ll reach your destination on a two-day tour with an experienced mountain guide. Along the way, you’ll make your way through fresh powder snow on your skis and enjoy the crisp Alpine air.

Day 1

The tour starts at 08:15 at Sunnegga valley station. After a quick introduction, you’ll travel together to Rothorn station. From there, you’ll take the lift to Fluhalp, where the ski tour begins. On the first day, you’ll climb to Pfulwe and ski down from there to Täschalp. You’ll enjoy a delicious dinner there and spend the night in the hut.

Day 2

The next day, you’ll set off at 04:00 to climb Alphubel. The ascent takes around five hours and is quite demanding, both technically and physically. At the summit, you’ll be rewarded with a unique panorama of the surrounding mountains. After a break at the top, you’ll ski back down together into the valley as far as Täsch.

• It’s recommended that you do a training tour with a mountain guide beforehand to acclimatise

• Touring skis with touring bindings (bindings adjusted)

• Backpack weighing no more than 8–9 kg (30 L, max. 40 L; you must be able to attach your skis to it!)
• Shovel, probe and avalanche transceiver

• Packed lunch and snacks (high-energy food such as chocolate and dried fruit)
