Description
The GA Youth Tandem Day Pass lets you bring a friend along on your outing.
You both travel together for one day (until 5:00 AM the next day) using all public transport modes, including boats, buses, postal buses, and trams. Even the famous panoramic trains are covered by the day pass! However, seat reservations come with extra charges.
Mountain railways are excluded from the day pass, except for Rigi and Stanserhorn. You can see which routes are included on the GA validity area map.
The requirements are:
- You already have a GA Youth, GA Child, or GA Apprentice
- You already have a GA Family Youth, Trial GA Youth, GA Family Child, GA for Travelers with Disabilities, or a GA Monthly Pass
- Your companion is under 25 years old
Getting Around in a Wheelchair
- Wheelchair users increasingly find transport with low-floor access.
- The SBB Call Center Disability arranges assistance when changing trains where platforms haven't been raised or floors adjusted yet. It helps you prepare barrier-free travel or if you need help on the go.
- Ships are almost fully wheelchair accessible in 2nd class, provided the wheelchairs are manual.

Important information

- Your companion must be under 25 years old
- valid on the GA network
- Check the timetable on the travel day via the SBB website or app. The ticket cannot be refunded if you miss the last means of transport.
