Ride the cable car in Grindelwald and be carried to the summit over 2000 m above sea level. Grindelwald-First offers breathtaking views of the Bernese Oberland mountain panorama and a variety of activities. Alternatively, you can buy a ticket just to Bort or Schreckfeld.

The gondola ride was really beautiful but the organization at the base needs to be better. You cannot tell where you are supposed to buy tickets for the various activities or where you are supposed to get off the gondola for those activities.
We booked the tickets in advance, so we didn't have to wait. It's absolutely incredible up on the mountain. The trail and hiking paths are excellent and well maintained.
It was amazing! I felt completely safe with Mattias! It was an awesome experience! I hig hly recommend it!
The trip up Grindelwald First was great. But waiting a full hour in line, even though the ticket was bought online, was way too long. Guests without an online ticket got up the mountain faster. That’s not okay for me, and next time I wouldn’t buy an online ticket again.
