Description
With a FunPackage ticket for the Pfingsteggbahn, you can ride from Grindelwald to the Alp Pfingstegg in just under 5 minutes. At the top, enjoy stunning views over the valley and the surrounding peaks like the Eiger and Wetterhorn.
The ticket includes three rides on the summer toboggan run, which starts right behind the mountain station. After your thrilling descent, a return lift will take you back to the start each time.
You also get to zip three times on the Fly-Line through the forest. The start and finish of the Fly-Line are located just below the mountain station of the cable car.
Practical information:
- Park&Ride from Grindelwald Terminal: With a parking ticket from the parking garage, you can use the public bus to the Pfingsteggbahn and back free of charge.
- 5 minutes from Grindelwald train station by bus running every 15 to 30 minutes. The stop "Grindelwald, Pfingsteggbahn" is right at the valley station.
- 15 minutes on foot from Grindelwald train station

Important Information
- Check the timetable for your travel day on the SBB website or app
- Due to weather conditions, the summer toboggan run will only open from 22 May 2026.
- The toboggan run will be closed for safety reasons in case of rain or wet conditions.
- Children under 4 years old are not allowed to use the toboggan run.

We spent 165 CHF for tobogganing and another 100 CHF to get there, only to spend three hours waiting because it was supposedly closed for rain, even though it hardly rained. When we asked about a refund, we were told they don’t offer any, while others who paid on-site received refunds. We didn’t get what we paid for and got no refund, so I would not book through Swiss Activities.
