Beatenberg paragliding in tandem from Interlaken

After a scenic drive from Interlaken to Beatenberg, you'll take off into the air after a few short steps. While paragliding with your tandem partner, you will experience an absolute feeling of freedom as you view the Bernese Oberland from a bird's eye view and fly towards the landing site in Interlaken.

You will be picked up in Interlaken at the meeting point of your choice and driven to Beatenberg for about 20 minutes. Your pilot will first brief you about the upcoming flight and explain everything you need to know.

From the take-off point at 1350 m above sea level you will start your flight. After a few quick steps you are in the air. During 10 to 20 minutes you will float with your tandem pilot through the air over the turquoise lake of Thun. If you have a small compact camera with a safety line, you can take your own pictures. The whole trip takes about 1.5 hours.

You will land on the landing field in the heart of Interlaken. From here you will depart individually.

Practical information:

• No previous experience required
• Wear good shoes and clothes suitable for the weather
• Compact camera with safety line allowed
• Mobile phone or mobile camera with interchangeable lenses not allowed
• In case of unsafe weather the flight may be cancelled, the decision is up to the pilot
• Relatives are not allowed to travel with you to the launch site

If you are looking for a relaxing follow-up program to the exciting paragliding flight, we recommend a visit to the Beatus Cave. A path leads over a kilometer deep into the interior of this stalactite cave and is an impressive experience for young and old.
