The Stanserhorn cableways at a glance Two cableways take you up Stanserhorn, Stanser’s local mountain: in the lower section, the historic funicular railway from 1893 takes guests from Stans to the Kälti intermediate station in 10 minutes. There, you change to the CabriO-Bahn, the world’s first aerial cableway with an open upper deck. In 7 minutes, it reaches the mountain station at 1850 metres, with spectacular views.
