La Maison du Banneret Wisard, built in 1535, is one of the oldest farmhouses in the Bernese Jura and in all of Switzerland. This historic building in the heart of Grandval is a living museum that traces rural life from the 16th century to the present day. Here you discover a vaulted kitchen without a chimney, where meat is smoked and bread and cakes are baked in the wood-fired oven. Guided tours take you through the history of the house and its farming traditions.
